Alaa (pronounced EL AY) is our employee of the Month!! She joined the team just 6 months ago and is already rocking the boat!! She says her favorite thing about working for Top Shelf Collective is the dogs of the people she works with and the people she sees in the store! Alaa has been a HUGE part of employee engagement from minigames, parties, and gifts! Congratulations! Enjoy your 6 hours of PTO!

Stephan Abrams

Stephan first came to Jackson Hole in 1999. As the owner of The Liquor Store and Jackson Hole Marketplace, he enjoys leading creative work teams and motivating them to succeed every day. In addition to being highly knowledgeable in the wine, liquor and beer industry, Stephan thrives on close ties with friendly local customers, excellent staff, diverse vendors, and dependable distributors.
Stephan is both host and creator of The Jackson Hole Connection podcast, during which he shares the stories of worldly, wildly interesting folks connected to Jackson Hole. In his newest endeavor, Stephan launched The Vault, a secure climate-controlled facility for local wine and spirit enthusiasts to store their collections.
Raised in Brookhaven, MS, Stephan had dreamed of moving West since attending college at University of Alabama. After being in Jackson Hole for a while, his next dream was to become a family man. Stephan married his beautiful wife, Laura, in 2013, and they are now raising two small boys, Louis and William. There’s no doubt Stephan has seen many changes in our area over the years, but one item always remains constant; his proud love of Wyoming. Serving our community is truly one of Stephan’s greatest pleasures.

Nate Mylott

Nate Mylott was born and raised in Vermont. He moved to Jackson in 1997 like many, in pursuit of outdoor adventure. He discovered his passion for wine as a server and decided to make that his professional pursuit. Since then, he has worked as a retail wine buyer, wholesale wine salesman, and became a CMS Level 2 Certified Sommelier. During his free time, Nate continues to spend as much of it outdoors as possible with his wife, Tiffaney, and dog, Wilma.

Emilee Ballard

Emilee was born and raised in northern Utah where she spent her summers hiking, mountain biking, and camping and her winters skiing and snowboarding. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies with a minor in Business emphasizing in Human Resources from Utah State University. Her love for outdoor recreation led her to southern Utah where she lived for 10 years. Emilee is passionate about the red rock deserts of southern Utah where she continued expanding her outdoor recreation talents to include rafting, kayaking, and her true love of canoeing.
Emilee earned a Master of Public Administration degree from Southern Utah University, where she also worked as the Director of Event and Parking Services. It was during this time that she developed a niche for employee engagement and a progressive leadership style. These formative moments led her to Jackson, Wyoming to work as the Director of Human Resources at Snow King Mountain Resort from 2019 to 2023 where she was known as the “mom” of the Mountain.
Emilee joined Top Shelf Collective in April 2023 and is excited to be a part of a team who values strong employee engagement where she can use her unique skills to nurture company culture while continuing with her leadership development. Beyond work, Emilee is dedicated to her family and is beyond excited to have three of her adult children working and living in Jackson where they can enjoy the outdoors together.

Chad Sheldon

Business Development Manager, Acting General Manager Jackson Hole Market Place
Chad grew up on the east coast of the US, where he attended college until the opportunity of travel and discovery lured him to the American West. Chad spent 3 years in Jackson Hole before jumping across the ocean to London, where he spend 17 years as the Operations Manager for several large food and beverage operations in London’s bustling West End. Living in London allowed him to travel extensively through Europe and North Africa, allowing him to eat, drink, explore and embrace cultural diversities firsthand. Returning regularly to JH to visit friends, Chad moved back to the mountains of Wyoming in late 2015 and joined our team in the Spring of 2021.

Alaa (pronounced EL-AY) was born in the ancient and historically rich country of Egypt. Her parents immigrated to the United States before she turned a year old, spending most her life in large cities like Chicago and most recently Las Vegas. She accidentally found her way to Jackson where she fell in love with the small town, the humbling mountains, and communal appreciation for the outdoors.
With a Bachelors in Hospitality Management, and Masters in Industrial & Organizational Psychology, Alaa grew a passion for building and contributing to strong & healthy workplace cultures where she can help as many people she can to feel valued, motivated, and fulfilled. When not at work, you can find her in the mountains, on the trails, paddle boarding, practicing yoga, or corralling her sweet dog Doge who loves to make her rounds for all the pets and attention.

Alex Tomlinson

Store Manager/Beer Buyer
Alex is originally from Dallas, Texas, but spent most of his life growing up in Leadville, Colorado, notable for being the highest incorporated city in America (10,200ft.). He’s lived in the Jackson area since 2011 and you can generally find him climbing mountains or playing in rivers when he’s not working. Alex is super passionate about ski mountaineering, mountain biking, and enjoying good beer.

Anna Bonds

Anna Bonds
People Operations Manager
Anna was born and raised in South Carolina. She spent a great part of the last decade in Charleston, SC emerged in the food and beverage industry. It was there that Anna’s passion for continued education became the priority. Anna received her intro Sommelier Certification before hitting the road in search of four seasons and higher elevation. Anna landed in Jackson 6 years ago and has since made a life for herself just over the pass in Teton Valley, Idaho. She’s a sucker for alpine lakes and wine tastings, though a flight of beer works too. In her downtime, you can find Anna backpacking somewhere in the Winds with her family or enjoying a glass of Spanish red. If you see Anna at one of our locations, you can bet she’d be happy to help you find your new favorite beverage, so make sure to say hello if she doesn’t beat you to it.

Daniel Bussard

Born and raised in Wyoming and graduating from Dickenson College with a B.A. in International Studies and German, Daniel has lived full-time in Jackson since 2013 and joined our team in 2018. He loves to spend his free time on the water sippin’ single malts with a good cigar.

Nate is from upstate New York and moved here in 2008 for a change of scenery and better skiing. He originally joined the TLS team in 2013 and have been on and off through that time period. He still enjoys skiing and many other outdoor activities available to us here in the greater Teton area.

Rich Marino

Events Manager and Marketing Liaison
Rich is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He’s spent the past 3 winters in Jackson avoiding work calls and pretending to miss the office setting. Pretending got exhausting, so like anyone would do, Rich broke up with his sales job and planted roots in Jackson permanently. When Rich isn’t planning events, he can be found unknotting his fly line, getting lost in the woods, acting like he can ski or teaching his dog Pickles that pillows aren’t toys.

Shannon Burke

Shannon grew up just a state away in Utah. Loving the outdoors and having the Tetons as a camping and city escape, she fell in love with the area and moved to Alpine Wyoming in 2019. Shannon’s very first job was as a Ski Instructor combining her love of skiing outdoors and helping people. She has a diverse background in experience including 20+ years of Retail Management. She has recently cultivated a love for wine and whiskeys and is currently working on her WSET certifications for wine. When not in the store you can find her snowshoeing, soaking in hot springs, sailing, or paddle boarding in the area, when not hanging out with here furry dog companion Athena.

Claudia Fatica

Claudia was born in Italy on the Adriatic coast. Her parents immigrated to the United States when she was barely one and lived her entire life in the Cleveland, Ohio area.
That is until 2022, when she moved to Wyoming to be near her two grand babies, both born in Jackson.
Educated with Bachelor degrees in both Interior Design and Business Management and fluent in Italian language. Her life path led her to the wine world in 2005 where she founded, owned and managed an Italian wine import/distribution company for nearly fifteen years. Wine & design are just two of her passions. She is a lifelong learner with a broad range of credentials. Most recently certified as a Chopra Meditation Instructor & Institute for Integrative Nutrition Wellness Coach.
No doubt being born in Italy amongst thousands of grape varietals, wine is in her DNA.
